Finding Your Gift

Harbour painting

Hazel: Found this early this morning:

“The meaning of life is to find your gift

The purpose of life is to give it away”

– Picasso

Ian: You found your gift very early and have been giving it away all your life – well, not for nothing obviously, but you’ve given of your gift irrespective of great financial reward (I’m guessing)

Hazel: Yes, my gift has to be given back, shared, used for teaching, for people who haven’t much cash and appreciate what I’m attempting to say. Those who believe in faeries and tolerate elves.

Ian: I’m still looking for my gift, if indeed i have one.

Hazel: I don’t own it, it’s just loaned out to me whist I’m here. Put a pencil in my hand and it pours forth – like squeezing out toothpaste!
